Dumonde Tech played an instrumental role in the Spider Ducati Race Team, winning the 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in the “big bike” 1200cc class. The Ducati Multistrada was piloted by Greg Tracy to win the epic event. Tracy commented, “We ran with Dumonde Oils in the Ducati as those products proved that they could handle the extreme conditions of Pikes Peak and not break down. When I won the 2008 Pikes Peak Hill Climb on the Ducati Hypermotard, I also exclusively used Dumonde. I have a secret weapon when I run with Dumonde – well until now!”
As part of the intrigue of winning the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Dumonde was also part of another historic “first”. Dumonde was one of the key partners to ensure that the very first iPhone 4 Action Adventure Viral Film would be part of their Ducati race effort. The viral short form film speaks for itself – the entire press release follows the YouTube link. One of the viral channels has more than 310,000 views within only a few days after the piece was released. Enjoy!
